FAQs:
1.
Who do I call when I need a taxi?
Customers can either call one of the taxi companies
listed on the front of their HSB Taxi Voucher under the "Premier Taxi
Providers" header, or any one of the companies
listed on the "Participating
Taxi Companies" page.

Taxi Vouchers redeemable for cash?
HSB Taxi Vouchers are not redeemable for cash.
3.
Can I be credited for "left-over miles", the miles that
remain whenever I don't travel the full distance covered
by a voucher?
Vouchers are meant to be used for one-time taxi
rides. Please plan accordingly since no cash refunds or
credits will be offered
for unused miles.
4. How many people can ride with me when I use HSB
Taxi Vouchers?
This will depend on the type of taxi you use and the
regulations that govern it. Please ask the taxi
company about passenger limits when you call them for
service or before you enter a taxi.
5. Can I
make stops on the way to my final destination?
Please note that amongst other things, Sacramento
taxis charge for distance traveled as well as time.
Although HSB Taxi Vouchers cover distance traveled, they
do not cover additional charges caused by added trip
time due to slow traffic or the passenger requesting
stops along the way. When additional charges are
incurred, the passenger is responsible for paying them.
6. What happens if my voucher does not cover the full
distance of my taxi ride?
If your voucher does not cover the full distance you
intend to
travel, you will have to pay the remaining charge
out-of-pocket when you arrive at your destination. These
remaining charges will be based on the taxi company's
regular fares.
6. Do I
have to tip the driver?
We encourage you to tip your driver for providing you
with great customer service; but, it is always up to
you.
7.
What should I do if I leave something in a taxi?
Always make sure to check for all your belongings
before exiting a taxi. If you suspect you left
something in a taxi, please contact the taxi company
directly. Taxi drivers will always give you a receipt
upon request. Review the receipt for the
taxi company name then contact it.
8. Does my
voucher have an expiration date?
Vouchers expire one year from the date of
purchase. You can find this expiration date
stamped on each voucher.
